The last couple of months have been busy and chaotic. Despite some great ideas for stories, I’m out of my routine.

Well, to be honest, I don’t have a writing routine. I just write when I feel like it, which is quite a lot of the time. I’ve been distracted, and I have about five stories in my drafts that I need to finish.

I will be in the hospital overnight for surgery tomorrow. This time it isn’t my knacky kidneys. I’m finally having my breast reduction surgery at 47, and I cannot wait.

No more strap marks, underboob rashes or shoulder and neck pain. Also, people might actually look at me when they’re speaking (which, as an autistic person, is kinda scary).

At 7 am, I’ll be booked in and marked up and prepped for surgery. I should be done by lunchtime, but I’ll be in overnight in a nice private room. My spare bedroom is ready for me to rest in comfort after I’m released on Sunday afternoon.

I’m nervous but excited. My body will finally feel like mine.
